Adventists believe life is more than just the accumulation of "stuff". It’s about more than just surviving. It means more than simply maximising pleasure and minimising pain. We believe every life is of infinite value. Why? Because every human is miraculously crafted by God who wants us to live life to the full. What's more, He sent His Son to demonstrate true love, forgiveness and grace.
God’s Closet is a community service non-profit ministry. The basis of this giving ministry consists of a donation network whereby individuals, families and businesses within a community are invited to donate new and gently used children’s clothing (from newborn to size 10) at any time throughout the year to God’s Closet. One day per quarter God’s Closet opens for parents and guardians of children to come ‘shop’ donated clothing free of charge, for a $1 admission fee.
Therefore, this ministry is both supplied by and provides support to the community. God’s Closet is an Adventist Community Services ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
